Introducing the

Pete Sheridan Scholarship

The Pete Sheridan Scholarship supports students that are pursuing careers in emerging technologies and data, and passionate about shaping tomorrow’s world.

Pete Sheridan was a founding member of Aztec Information Systems (now IRI), which created audience measurement technology that significantly disrupted the consumer packaged goods information industry in Australia and New Zealand, and eventually became the market leader. In that role he was an executive with a P&L responsibility of USD $100M+ across multiple regions.

Pete’s primary areas of interest have always been new products and technologies that disrupt the status quo, and building teams of talented people.

Critical to this is strong leadership – the component of his career that Pete enjoys the most – with a razor-sharp focus on cultivating a culture that supports and encourages staff to reach their full potential, develop both technical and personal skills, enjoy the work they do, and achieve meaningful outcomes.

The Pete Sheridan Scholarship takes that one step further.

This program has been introduced to identify and support talented individuals much earlier in their career: before it’s truly begun.

To be eliglble for the Pete Sheridan Scholarship, students must be passionate about how the intersection of emerging technologies and data will disrupt and transform the world of tomorrow.

Successful candidates will be supported with their education, ensuring they have a strong foundation from which to launch their careers and become tomorrow’s leaders.
